Darwin Song Project CD
In March 2009, Chris Wood, Karine Polwart, Jez Lowe, Rachael McShane, Krista Detor, Stu Hanna, Mark Erelli and Emily Smith spent a week in a Shropshire farmhouse on a songwriting retreat.
The brief was to collaborate and to produce songs that had a resonance and relevance to Charles Darwin - the results were 17 amazing songs that were performed to a sold out audience at the new theatre in Shrewsbury.
The CD comes in a high quality 6 panel digipak, with a 16 page booklet including lyrics and comments on the songs written by the artists.
